Bully of the Town

A diminished chord in the second bar — not something you hear often in an old-time tune. Bully of the Town came out of a popular song from the 1890s and kept that harmony on its way into the fiddle repertoire. The work here is crosspicking: keeping the pick rolling across the strings for the whole arrangement without burying the melody underneath it.
